This camera uses the recently developed theory of compressive sensing to acquire images in a compressed form, and as a bonus uses only a single photodetector.</p> <p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaska/259117628"><img class="flickr" src="http://static.flickr.com/87/259117628_3e702d0ecf_m.jpg" /></a></p> <p>The picture above shows me and Dharmpal in the lab after fidgeting with different imaging methods.
